Why Blessing CEO chose to marry at the age of 18
Therapist Blessing CEO explained why she started dating at 15 and got married at 18. She also shared her thoughts on why marriages are failing today.
Blessing CEO was recently invited to the ‘ThisIsPop’ podcast, where she discussed problems affecting marriages.
She mentioned that modern marriages are rushed and spontaneous. In the past, marriages were more thorough and involved careful consideration.
Back then, families would go to the partner’s side to make inquiries before a person got married. This helped ensure the relationship was suitable.
Blessing CEO also talked about how not getting love from parents can make girls look for it elsewhere. This can lead to early dating and marriage.
She shared her own experience of lacking love at home, which led her to start dating at 15.
Eventually, she got married at 18, but the marriage didn’t last.
